Less than 48 hours to the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly election, more wins hit the PDP camp in kwara state as all the ward chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders including members of the executives of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) across the 52 wards in Kwara central on Tuesday adopted the Governorship candidates of PDP Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi and promise to work for his victory in this coming Saturday election.
This was made known in the press statement issued by Saraki press officer on local matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulkadir. According to him, the YPP leaders were received by the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki in Ilorin.
Led by their coordinator, Mr. Lookman Maja, the YPP leaders affirmed their readiness to work with the PDP, to elect a people-oriented government under Alhaji Abdullahi.
The group said Kwarans cannot afford to continue with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of the APC, who has failed in all ramifications and has put the state in reverse gear.
The party leaders also promised to mobilize all their supporters across Ilorin South, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Asa LGAs to vote for the PDP Governorship and House of Assembly candidates in the March 18 elections.
Dr. Saraki while receiving the YPP leaders appreciated their boldness to work for PDP in the Governorship election in the interest of the people of Kwara and the generation unborn.
Saraki, assured the leadership of the YPP in Kwara Central of good working relationships in the interest of the state.
