Ex Kwara Lawmakers Commiserate with Hon. W.W. Memudu Over Wife’s Death

The forum of ex Kwara lawmakers of the State House of Assembly has commiserated with a colleague, Hon. WW Memudu over the passing of his wife, late Mrs. Omotunde Memudu, who died, Monday, in Ilorin, following a brief illness.
The deceased was said to have been battling with ‘End Stage Kidney Disease’ and placed on haemodialysis for several months to sustain her life, but unfortunately, she could not survive the battle, as she finally gave the ghost last night, Monday, the 14th of August, 2023.
A statement signed by the forum’s chairman and secretary, Hon. Abraham Ashaolu and Hon. Bola Mogaji, respectively, described the incident as unfortunate.
“It is quite unfortunate that our friend and colleague, Hon. WW Memudu had to lose his dear wife, most especially at this relatively peak period of his life when the couple needs each other most”, the statement added.
It further noted that Mrs. Omotunde Memudu was a great woman, wife, and mother who devoted her lifetime to the welfare of her family, friends, and service to humanity, therefore, urging the family to take solace in the fact that she lived a life worthy of emulation.
It prayed Almighty God to grant the deceased an eternal rest and give the family, particularly her immediate family, husband, and children, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
