Tanto Olohun: Saraki visit ancestral home, Joins prayer session in Agbaji

The Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Tuesday arrived in Ilorin to visit his ancestral home over the death of the chief imam of Agbaji, Shaikh Aminullahi Tanto Olohun.
Saraki after visiting the family of the deceased, joined the descendants of Agbaji to pray for the late Imam of the community.
It would be recalled that the Imam of Agbaji Tanto Olohun died at the age of 75 on Saturday at his Ilorin home in Agbaji after a protracted illness.
He was buried according to Islamic rites in the evening.
Saraki in his reaction expressed sadness over the demise of Tanto Olohun.
Saraki who is the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate and an eminent son of Agbaji, in a condolence message signed by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, described the death of the Imam as a personal loss and commiserated with the immediate family of the late cleric, the Agbaji community, and Ilorin Emirate.
“Imam Agbaji, Sheikh Aminullahi Tanto Olohun Imam will be sorely missed for his relentless efforts in the propagation of Islam and the promotion of peace and unity in the community.
“Imam Tanto Olohun was not just a spiritual leader but also a community leader in his own right. He was committed to the development of his immediate community and Ilorin as a whole.
“The demise of a loved one, no matter how old, is usually saddening, but we must take solace in the fact that Imam Tanto Olohun lived a fulfilled and exemplary lifestyle worthy of emulation. He will be remembered for this and many other good legacies he left behind.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljanah Firdaus, comfort his immediate family, the entire community, and Ilorin Emirate in general,” Saraki prayed
