Ex- Kwara Deputy Governor, Elder Kisira dies at 74 *** He Served Kwara with Diligence and Dedication – Saraki

Former Deputy Governor of Kwara state, Elder Peter Kisira, on Saturday bid the world bye to join his ancestors.
Kisra , according to a family source, died at the age of 74.
The deceased served as the deputy to the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed, between May 29, 2011, and May 29, 2019.
Meanwhile, the former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has expressed his sadness over the passing of the former deputy governor.
According to his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir’s statement, Saraki described the late elder statesman as an accomplished politician and a respected community leader.
Saraki noted that, the late deputy governor, served Kwara and its people with diligence and dedication.
“Saraki, who served as a two-term governor of Kwara, extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Ilesha-Baruba in Barutten local government area of the State.
“Elder Kisira served as the deputy to the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed, between May 29, 2011, and May 29, 2019.
“Saraki added that the deceased lived a fulfilled life in the service of his creator and humanity. He prayed God Almighty to grant his family and the state the fortitude to bear the painful exit and comfort all those who mourn his demise.”
