Breaking News: Court Strikes Out Defamation Case Against National Pilot Newspaper and Reporter

For the staff and management of National Pilot Newspaper, Ilorin, today was another victorious day against victimization and oppression as the magistrate court sitting in Ilorin dismissed the defamation case brought forth by Olayinka Fafoluyi, an aide to the state governor, against the National Pilot newspaper and its reporter, Ahmed Ajikobi.

The case, which stemmed from direct complaints by Fafoluyi, alleged defamation by the newspaper and its reporter. However, at the resumed hearing , the court delivered a decisive blow by striking out the suit, citing a lack of jurisdiction.

This ruling comes as a significant development in the ongoing legal battle, marking a victory for the defendants, the National Pilot Newspaper and Ahmed Ajikobi.
