Youth warned against social vices, as Adangba Youth elects new leaders
The Pioneer President of Adangba Youth Development Association, Alhaji Ameed Babatunde Atotileto has warned youth Nigerian against social vices and other acts capable of jeopardizing their future and that of the country.
He gave the advice in Ilorin while speaking during the election of executive members of Adangba Youth Development Association held at Adangba Area, Ilorin.
Atotileto advised youth to be vanguard of positive change in their communities in the interest of overall development of the state and Nigeria at large.
While emphasizing the need for the youth to avoid any act that could retard the nation’s growth and development, advised the newly executive members of Adangba Youth to put interest of the community first in the discharge of the duties.
The community leader enjoined the leadership of Adangba Youth to be magnanimous in victory and carry all members of association especially other contestants who lost out during the contest along in the scheme of things.
He also advised other contestants who lost during the contest to support the new executive and avoid any act that could cause disunity in the community.
At the end of the keenly contest election, Garba Saka Ladan emerged as the new President,
Saka Babatunde Luqman, emerged as Vice President, while Basheer Luqman was elected as the new General Secretary of the association.
Other executive members include Ajisefini Abdulganiyu, Assistant General Secretary; Oba-Abdullateef Eleburuke, Financial Secretary;
Yusuf Ridwanullahi, Treasurer; Muyideen Surajeen,P.R.O l; Daud Musbaudeen Olosan, P.R.O ll; Sambo Basheer, Social Director l and Ahmad Olorombo who emerged as the Social Director ll.
In his post election speech, the new President, Garba Saka Ladan promised to operate an open administration, adding that the development of Adangba community would be his watchword and solicited for the support of all the stakeholders.
