Contrary to the widespread speculation circulating on social media, Seun Okinbaloye, a popular anchor with Channels TV, has not been fired from the station.

The rumours of his dismissal have been put to rest as Okinbaloye has recently returned to the country after a vacation in the United States.

The political anchor, known for hosting the popular shows “Politics Today” and “Sunday Politics” on Channels TV, is expected to resume his on-air duties on Monday, July 22. “Politics Today” is a program that delves into recent significant developments and activities in the world of politics in and around Nigeria.

  • Okinbaloye took to his Twitter page — @seunokin — to announce his return, sharing a video and a brief message that read, “Back on the Grind…. #vacationmode over. Let’s meet tonight at 7 pm on @channelstv. I have something to tell you all… #NaijaForLife.”

The anchor’s return to the station has been highly anticipated by his viewers and followers, who have been eagerly awaiting his comeback to the screen.
