A Former Nigerian Senator, Shehu Sani, widely known for his active social media presence, recently shared an amusing yet thought-provoking post on his X handle, formerly known as Twitter.

Sani humorously disclosed that whenever he wants to show his wife something on his phone, he switches his phone to airplane mode to block any dangerous WhatsApp messages from appearing at the wrong time.

“When I’m showing my madam something in my phone, I first put the phone on flight mode to avoid dangerous WhatsApp messages dropping in that may distract attention or scatter the whole scenario.” Sani wrote on his X.

Although Sani’s post was delivered with humor, it touched a larger issue concerning privacy and the ever-increasing role of technology in our personal lives.

In today’s world, where messages can arrive at any moment, sometimes containing sensitive or private information, Sani’s tactic of using airplane mode serves as a shield against potential interruptions and unwanted disclosures, which could otherwise cause misunderstandings or strain relationships.

The post struck a chord with many on social media, as his followers responded with a mix of amusement and approval, with many praising the ingenuity of his approach.

Sani’s post sparked discussions about the importance of maintaining personal boundaries and the careful use of technology within relationships. While the tone was light, it raised important questions about how people navigate the digital world without jeopardizing relationships.
