Just today, it popped up on my wall how HAM Foundation Begins Water Outreach in Baruten and is set to install 22 Boreholes Across All Wards to Ensure Clean Water Access, yes, this is what intervention means, I mean direct impact.
When you talk about direct impact, Manko never left the group chat. We have got many in Manko’s calibre without manko-ing their respected communities, so it’s safe to give the flowers to whom it fits.
Come to think of it, at a time when Baruten is running into bankruptcy, Baruten Remains Among Least Developed Kwara Council Areas Despite Receiving 14.6 Billion In 4 Years. A recent report by ENetSuD has shed light on it already. In this context, the efforts of Alhaji Abdulkadir Attahiru Adamu Manko through the HAM Foundation stand out remarkably. His initiative to provide 22 boreholes across all wards in Baruten not only addresses the critical issue of water access but also shows a model of direct community intervention.
Indeed, the water intervention isn’t about Kwara North alone. I’ve heard of their water intervention in Kwara Central as well, showing a man doing and giving his all outside of politics, neither waiting for election cycles before rolling out whatsoever.
Having a Manko is Nothing but a Blessing. This is a column that carries a lot of heavyweight. The whole of persons across are taking note, and there’s no way overzealous, ambitious individuals without direct impact on our people can eat from where they didn’t sow. Manko has paid his dues to mankind; he’s a man of honour, with the honour around him.
Manko’s contributions go beyond mere acts of charity; they are emblematic of a life dedicated to service and upliftment. Imagine Manko recontesting elections in the future; why won’t the people line up behind him? His approach to community service transcends political seasons, it only focuses on the urgent needs of the populace regardless of electoral timelines. His non-political stance in these interventions is crucial. It shows that his motivation isn’t tied to political gain but rather to genuine care for community improvement. In places where political promises overshadow actual service delivery, Manko’s actions stands out. He’s making a tangible difference in people’s lives, which is rare and commendable.
Moreover, by extending these projects beyond Kwara North into Kwara Central, Manko have got a good vision for development, not confined by regional or political boundaries but by the need for equitable development across the state.
This kind of thought, where service is not a campaign tool but a continuous commitment, is why Manko deserves the accolades. His work speaks volumes about the potential for private initiatives to significantly enhance public welfare and set a benchmark for others in leadership and philanthropy roles to emulate.
Manko’s approach to philanthropy emphasizes not just the donation of resources but ensuring those resources are used where they are most needed. The accolades for Alhaji Abdulkadir Attahiru Adamu Manko are not just for the act of giving but for the strategic, impactful manner in which he has chosen to serve his community. His thoughts in this endeavor is to sustainable development, community upliftment, and the practical demonstration of what accountability in philanthropy looks like. His work in Baruten is a clarion call for others to follow, and also ensuring that resources are not just spent but invested in the future of people and places in need.
Therefore. In a society where many are quick to claim accolades for minimal effort, Manko stands out as someone who has truly sown the seeds of progress, and thus, rightfully reaps the harvest of communal respect and support. His honour is not self-proclaimed but bestowed by the very people whose lives he has touched. To have a Manko is to have a blessing, one that the community cherishes and will defend against those who seek to benefit without contributing.
Manko’s story is one of integrity to service, and genuine concern for humanity, that the most enduring accolades are those given by the hearts of the people.
