You Must Have At Least N5m If Your Wife Is Pregnant- Nigerian Doctor Advises Expectant Fathers

A Nigerian medical doctor, Dr. Ada Ujaligwa, in a post made on her facebook on Thursday, has urged expectant fathers to ensure they have no less than N5 million set aside before their child’s arrival.
In addition, she advised women planning to conceive to have a minimum of N1 million saved to cover potential medical expenses and other necessities.
“As a married woman who wants to get pregnant, let there be at least 1M in your savings account that you will not touch. As a married man whose wife is pregnant, have nothing less than 5M in your savings account in preparation for the birth
“How can you be so dependent on your husband financially that if he refuses to pay for your Caesarian section you will be stranded. How can you leave yourself at his mercy. From before you even get pregnant, hold the money for any kind of delivery gidigbam,”she stated.
