Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has said that President Bola Tinubu will be sent back to his base in Lagos comes 2027 presidential election.
El-Rufai stated this while addressing a gathering at Arewa TechFest in Katsina, on Wednesday.
According to Daily Post, El-Rufai disclosed that an important meeting of the political coalition of which he is part of, was held on Tuesday and they are fine tuning strategy to ensure that Tinubu does not get reelected, come 2027.
” Yesterday at 8 PM, there was a very important meeting of the coalition we’re putting together to ensure that President Tinubu goes back to Lagos”, El-Rufai was quoted to have said.
The former Governor however said, the coalition will retain the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani when it takes over power, because, according to him, he is doing a great job.
” Though we will still keep Bosun Tijani, we will still keep the minister because he is doing good work”, El-Rufai reportedly declared.
