Saraki Pays Condolence Visit to Kamaldeen Family Over Passing of Patriarch in Ilorin

Former President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the Kamaldeen family in Ilorin over the death of elder brother of the current Khalifatul Adabiyyah and father of the Honourable Grand Kadi of Kwara State, Justice Kamaldeen Abdullateef, Alhaji Daud Kamaldeen.
Saraki, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Toyin Saraki, visited the Kamaldeen Compound, also known as Araagbaji, to personally express his sympathies and offer prayers for the late Islamic scholar.
While addressing the grieving family, Saraki described the late Alhaji Daud Kamaldeen as “one of the foremost elders in Kwara,” adding that the deceased “charted a developmental path for Kwara and invested immeasurably in the growth and development of many Kwarans.”
He noted that his role as a community leader will be difficult to fill, because of the huge impact he had among his peers, his community and Ilorin as a whole.
Saraki added that the late Mogaji will be remembered for his fatherly advice, and the warm welcome he extended to him and many others at all times.
The former Senate President admonished the admonished the family to take solace in the good legacy that the late Sheikh left behind, as prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and asked Allah to comfort the bereaved family.
“My deepest condolences to Justice Kamaldeen Abdullateef, the Grand Kadi of Kwara State and the entire Kamaldeen family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. “We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him Al Jannah Firdaus, and comforts those he left behind,” he said.”
