Hajj 1446 Ends Safely with No Major Incidents, Says Saudi Arabia

The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal, has officially announced the successful and incident-free conclusion of Hajj 1446. The pilgrimage was marked by smooth operations, with no major issues reported in terms of security, health, or services.
According to Prince Mishaal, a total of 1,673,230 pilgrims took part in this year’s Hajj. Of these, 1,506,576 arrived from outside the Kingdom, while 166,654 were domestic pilgrims, including both Saudi citizens and residents. The total number included 877,841 men and 795,389 women.
“Total pilgrims 1,673,230, including 877,841 male pilgrims and 795,389 female pilgrims.”, He stated.
Prince Mishaal extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, crediting their leadership for ensuring a safe and peaceful Hajj for all participants.
He also commended the pilgrims for their cooperation and adherence to regulations, which contributed significantly to the smooth running of the pilgrimage.
“The pilgrims were able to perform their rites in peace and safety, thanks to the effective implementation of operational plans, this season passed without any major security, health, or service-related incidents.” he added
Prince Mishaal also noted that preparations for the next Hajj season would begin immediately, emphasizing the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to serving the holy sites and their visitors with pride and dedication.
