Former Nigeria Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has joined other Nigerians in mourning the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday at a clinic in London.
In a message shared on his social media platforms, Saraki offered prayers for the repose of the late president’s soul, saying:
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al Jannah Firdaus and give strength and comfort to his family. Ameen.”
Saraki, who served as the 13th President of the Nigerian Senate, described the passing as a moment of reflection and called for unity in praying for the departed leader.
