Christians  urged to emulate biblical Dorcas

Christians have again been charged to develop the spirit of giving to receive abundantly from God.
A Cleric, Pastor Ademola Popoola gave the charge today in his sermon delivered at the anniversary of Dorcas Band, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Pastor Popoola who dwelled on the topic “the chosen generations” called on Christians to follow the exemplary life of Dorcas by taking care of the less privileged in the society to meet the yearnings and aspiration of the chosen people.
The Cleric noted that the Lord always bless the cheerful givers urging them not to relent in giving.
Speaking on the theme “Jesus is ready to set you free”, Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA Ita Elepa called on Christians to have strong faith in Jesus Christ to overcome all challenges.
Reverend Adedoyin advised them to engage in fervent prayer adding that Jesus Christ is always ready to set the captive free.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road Ilorin who also spoke on the topic- “The Power of Prayer” explained that one great blessing that every believer in Jesus Christ could enjoy is the ability to pray and receive answer from God.
Pastor Aransiola charged Nigerians to seek God through fervent prayer to cleanse the  land and give the Nation a brighter future.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church, lpetu-lgbomina called on Nigerians to always pray for their leaders and the Country for divine interventions from above.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo appealed to politicians to put God first in what they do as the next year general election is draw nearer.
The District Minister in charge of Kwara and Kogi States of the Gospel Apostolic Church, Offa garage area, Pastor Kehinde lkupolati warned Christians against evil acts stressing that whatever they committed on earth shall be account for hereafter.
