PSG signs promising German defender

PSG is still busy strengthening their squad before the close of the transfer window.
The French club’s newest signing is young Schalke 04 defender Thilo Kehrer.
The German club released an official announcement on their website, explaining that the two clubs have found the agreement for the transfer of the 21-year-old centre back.
Only medicals is being awaited and the deal is for €37 million.
These are the words of the ds Christian Heidel: “The size of the economic offer for a player whose contract expires next year has pushed us to give in. Without the offer from PSG, Thilo would have renewed with us”.
Kehrer completed his youth development at Schalke before breaking into the B team in 2015 and the senior A team in 2016. He has appeared at the U16, U16, U19, U20, and U21 levels of the German national team.
Schalke will only have recouped more money from the sales of Leroy Sane and Julian Draxler when Kehrer’s transfer officially goes through.
The Germany Under-21 international made 28 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, with 23 of those at centre-back.

Man Utd offers Rojo to Turkish giants

Man United are reportedly in talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over a move for Red Devils and Argentina defender Marcus Rojo.
This is according to the Mirror, who are re-reporting and translating an article from Fanatik, who note that the Turkish Super Lig side are keen on snagging a loan move for the former Sporting Lisbon star.
The report also notes that the Argentine star has fallen sharply down the pecking order at Old Trafford, so it looks like the 28-year-old won’t be commanding a starting place in Jose Mourinho’s side any time soon.
Fenerbahce want to bring in Rojo from United on a temporary this summer as the defender has struggled to hold down a first team place at United since his arrival back in 2014.
The player was only able to conjure up 12 appearances in all competitions last year, so it seems like Mourinho certainly isn’t fond of playing the Argentine.
Rojo has only played more than 16 Premier League games in a season twice since he joined the club, with his most appearances in a campaign coming in his first year the club, with the star playing in 22 league outings for the Red Devils.

Ronaldo wants Juvy to sign €110m maestro

Cristiano Ronaldo has demanded that Juventus make a move for Lazio and Serbia midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
This is according to Don Balon, who note that Ronaldo is aware that Juve need to improve their squad if they’re to beat some of Europe’s best sides to the Champions League title this season, and that he wants the club to bolster their options in central midfield.
The report also states that the midfield star has a price tag of €110M on his head, a fee that seems fair given just how good the 23-year-old was last season.
It’s easy to see why Ronaldo wants Italian champions Juventus to bring Milinkovic-Savic to the club this summer, as the player showed last season just how insanely good he actually is.
In all competitions, the Serbian international bagged 14 goals and eight assists for Lazio to help them secure a fifth-placed finish in Serie A.
Should Juvy bring in Milinkovic-Savic, as well as having already signed Ronaldo, Juve fans will be confident about the club winning club football’s biggest European competition this season.

Real Madrid to make bold move for Tottenham star

While Real Madrid is still linked with a late move for Eden Hazard, The Sun reported that the Champions League winners are lining up Christian Eriksen as an alternative arrival at the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos have poached some of Tottenham’s top players in recent times and have been mooted with an interest in Harry Kane for some time but Eriksen now appears to be in their sights.
A move would likely rely on the future of another former Spurs star in Luka Modric, who has been the subject of interest from Inter Milan and linked with a shock move away from the Spanish capital this summer.
Should the 32-year-old move on, Madrid may well spring into action and replacing Modric’s creativity would be a priority as they begin a new era and approach under Julen Lopetegui.
Tottenham’s playmaker has been locked in talks with the club over a new deal for some time and a deal is yet to be reached to extend a contract that is set to expire in two years time.

Slimani joins Fenerbahçe on loan

Leicester City striker, Islam Slimani has joined Turkish top-flight side Fenerbahçe on loan for the 2018/19 season.
The 30-year-old Algeria international signed for the Foxes in the summer of 2016 and scored 13 times in 46 appearances for the Club, before heading out on loan to Newcastle United last term.
Slimani joined Leicester City from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, where he scored more than 50 goals in just over three seasons, while also netting twice for Algeria at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
He joins a Fenerbahçe side that finished second in the Turkish Super Lig last season and began their new campaign with a 2-1 win at home to Bursaspor on Saturday evening.

Milan completes Bakayoko deal

After Gonzalo Higuain and Caldara, Leonardo has made another important signing for Milan. The latest signing is Tiemoué Bakayoko and the midfielder arrives from Chelsea on loan with a right of redemption until June 30, 2019.
The 23-year-old, bought for £40 million by the Blues a summer ago, will complete his medicals, today (Monday). After the meeting in the week with the player’s brother-agent, Leonardo accelerated to close.
Left in the stands by Maurizio Sarri in the match won on Saturday against Huddersfield, and after a conference had admitted the possibility of assignment on loan, the French midfielder is expected in Milan to put his signature on the contract that will tie him to the club for this season.

Mignolet waiting on an offer from Napoli

Simon Mignolet’s agent Nico Vaesen has admitted the Belgian goalkeeper would welcome a move to Serie A side Napoli, however, the Italian club are facing a race against time to snap up the 30-year-old, the Liverpool Echo report.
Mignolet is valued at around £12 million by the Reds, who signed the keeper from Sunderland back in 2013, however, the transfer window shuts in Italy next Saturday and a deal has yet to be agreed.
And with Alisson completing his £66 million move from Roma in the summer, Mignolet’s five year association with the Reds looks to be over and is keen on completing a move away before the end of the month.
Talking to the media in Italy, agent Vaesen admitted that the keeper would be interested in a move to Italy, but revealed the two sides have yet to agree a deal.
Napoli has enquired about the keeper on several occasions now in previous transfer windows.
There’s no confirmation of a move to Napoli, though, and we’ll have to wait to see if in the next few days they make an offer.
During his stay at Anfield, Mignolet has made 202 appearances in all competitions, however, the Belgian doesn’t look set to add anymore to that tally and could well be a Napoli player in the coming days.

Barcelona winger to snub Arsenal for £100m PSG move

Barcelona winger, Ousmane Dembele could be on his way to PSG before the end of the month, according to reports.
Mundo Deportivo claim that PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on reuniting with Dembele, who he managed at Borussia Dortmund.
Dembele struggled for consistency after being plagued by injuries in his first season at Barcelona last year, leading to rumours of a departure.
Unai Emery’s Arsenal was linked with the 21-year-old before the English transfer window closed, but a move never materialised.
So far, PSG have only brought in Gianluigi Buffon on a free transfer from Juventus this summer.

Everton boss £40million Richarlison price tag

Everton boss Marco Silva has defended the price tag of club-record signing Richarlison.
The Brazilian forward silenced critics of his reported £40million transfer from Watford by scoring twice on his debut as Everton drew 2-2 at Wolves on Saturday evening.
Richarlison was on hand to open the scoring from close range after 17 minutes and he restored the visitors’ lead with a well-taken curling effort in the 67th minute.
Silva said: “For me, the figure is not important and it is not important talking about it every time.
“If a club pays that money it is because that is his value in the market – and it’s not only our club paying this money for one player.
“Of course, it’s a fantastic start for him. He is a boy I took last season from Brazil and we did everything to bring him to this club too.
“It’s a fantastic start, with fantastic work and fantastic behaviour, and with his talent, in some moments he can score.”

Sturaro joins Sporting on loan

Juventus midfielder, Stefano Sturaro has joined Sporting Lisbon on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.
The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League before the transfer window closed last week, with West Ham United among the clubs believed to be interested.
However, Sturaro has now completed a move to Sporting, where he will spend the coming season on loan.
“Juventus football club can confirm that Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro will play next season on loan at Portuguese side Sporting CP,” read a statement on the Italian club’s official website.
Sturaro joined Juventus from Genoa in 2014, and has won four Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia crowns during his time with the club.
However, the four-time Italy international only made 12 Serie A appearances for the Old Lady during the 2017-18 campaign.
