NPFL: Kwara United ready for new season – Oladimeji 

 

Kwara United Football Club has signified its readiness for the new Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The Chairman of the club, Prince Oladimeji Thompson disclosed this last Friday in Ilorin during the unveiling of 19 new players at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara Stadium Complex Ilorin.
Oladimeji said the club is determined to surpass the past records of the club, as he appealed to the good people of Kwara State to see the club as a collective heritage that they must protect and safeguard.
The Chairman however thanked the state government for its moral and financial support to the team, throughout last season, while urging it to continue its support in 2019 NPFL season.
Speaking on behalf of the players, Solomon Owelo, a former Niger Tornadoes player said they knew the task ahead of them and they are ready for the NPFN new season.
