Kwara reviews ex-gov’s welfare package
The Kwara State Government has approved the increment of emoluments of the former military governor of the state, Group Captain Salahudeen Olatinwo.
This decision among others was taken at a valedictory meeting held at the Government House, Ilorin on Wednesday and chaired by the state Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.
The Council agreed to provide comprehensive healthcare service for the former Governor at the state health facilities as the only indigene military administrator living.
He explained that the intention was to appreciate the former Governor for his selfless service to the growth and development of the state during his regime.
The state commissioner for Information and Communications, Alhaji Ishiak Mohammed Sabi, also spoke about ongoing projects due for commissioning, disclosing that Geri Alimi underpass, Land Administration Secretariat, KWASU school of Governance among others will be commissioned before May 29.
