R.Kelly to remain in jail for trial 2020

American RnB singer, R.Kelly has been denied bail by a Brooklyn judge Ann Donnelly on Wednesday and will remain in jail until 2020.
Recall that the American singer was arrested in July over alleged child pornography and federal sex trafficking.
R Kelly was charged with five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and two counts of criminal sexual assault.
The singer’s attorneys had pleaded for his release ahead of his trials, claiming that he suffers medical conditions while in jail.
But when the motion was debated in court the federal judge did not support it.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the government says Kelly is definitely a flight risk if he were released from jail.
According to reports by Page Six, the trial is set to begin May 18, 2020 and the proceeding is expected to last three weeks.
