Saraki’s ex-media aide loses son in Canada

 

The second son of Chuks Okocha, the former media aide of the immediate
past Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki was among the two people that
were killed in horrific crash in downtown Kamloops, Vancouver Canada
early Sunday morning.
Okocha’s son who is masters degree student schooling in Thompson
Rivers University Kamloops Vancouver Canada was due to graduate in
April 2020.
According to reports, there were four occupants in the car being
driven by the younger Okocha before being hit by a truck.
Two people died on the spot while the other two occupants are
presently hospitalised.
The crash occurred at 1:40 a.m. at First Avenue and Battle Street.
Battle Street is a two-way, east-West Street with stop signs at First
Avenue, which is a one-way hill with traffic going southbound, up the
hill.
Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said the driver of the pickup truck
had left the scene of the crash by the time Mounties arrived.
“The collision at about 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 3 at First Avenue and Battle
Street killed two people who were in this red car. A third occupant
was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and a fourth
occupant sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of a
pickup truck that collided with the car left the scene of the crash.
“When officers arrived, they found two occupants of the car were
already deceased,” Shelkie said, noting the other two people in the
car were taken to hospital, with one in life-threatening condition and
the other sustaining non-life threatening injuries.As police continue
their investigation on Sunday morning, First Avenue remains closed
between Seymour and Nicola streets, while Battle Street is closed
between Second Avenue and Lee Road.
“Due to the severity of this collision, our investigation could take
most of the day,” Shelkie said.

of the pickup truck, are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at
