Amuse God through praises, clergy charges Christians

By Mike Adeyemi
The Senior Pastor of Evangelical Church Winning All(ECWA), Osere, Rev.
(Dr) Steve Fatoye has charged Christians on the need to always praise
God through songs ministration regardless of any situation they find
themselves.
He stated this yesterday during the 2019 Halleluyah Minister Summit
head at ECWA Chapel, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
According to him, one of the greatest things that amuse God is praises
after prayer.
“After praises, we pray and wonders happen. That is why we put heads
together as yuletide approaches to make people remember what God has
done for them.
“I believe in the empowerment of supernatural origin and I equally
want to acknowledge that when people come together to praise God,
heaven door is opened,” he said.
Fatoye who was the servanthood of Halleluyah Summit added that the
purpose for the fiesta is to win souls for God.
“Halleluyah Summit began some years ago and precisely in 1993 where
about 600 chorus songs were put together. And since then, it has been
a passion for people of God to come together and praise God.”
He however said that the vision for the summit in the nearest years is
to take the summit beyond the shores of Nigeria.
“Halleluyah Summit was envisaged in South Africa in 2010, ditto
Cameroon. We hope to make it a cross denominational event,” he
concludes.
Also speaking at the event, a member of the Planning Commitee, Dr.
Tayo Arinde, said the concept behind the summit is to high mark a
period to appreciate God via song ministration.
“The ultimate is to win souls for Christ. Dr. Fatoye is the
servanthood for the summit and he is a man of God that can turn people
to realise their potentials.
“In the coming years, we plan to make the summit a bigger event and
probably take it to greater height to the glory of God,” Arinde said.
The Guest Speaker at the summit, Pastor Enupe Ogba admonished people
on the need to rejoice in whatever tribulations life placed before
them.
“The theme for the summit is ‘Rejoice’, taken from the book of
Philippians 12 vs 4. Looking at theย situation we are today, one of
the difficult thing is to rejoice when things seem to working well”,
Enupe said.
