Former Kingstone Suites GM bags tourism award

Former General Manager of Kingstone Suites and Royal Shekinah Hotel,
Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, Mr Eyitayo Rotimi Ayoola, was
recently honoured at the International Conference Centre in Abuja for
Culture and Tourism development initiatives and drive over the years.
In addition to the award that was presented to him in the presence of
the Director-General, National Council for Arts and Tourism, Otunba
Olusegun Runsewe on November 18, 2019, Ayoola was listed among the top
100 Most Recognised Culture and Tourism Personality in Nigeria.
In his remarks, the award recipient, Ayoola, thanked God and the
organisers of the event for the honour done him.
He thereafter dedicated the award to Kwara State and his hometown,
Igbaja, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.
Continuing, he said, “This award which is in honour of my
contributions tothe culture and tourism sector will spur me to do more
for my state and Nigeria at large.
Present at the event were; Ghana Ambassador to Nigeria, Rashid Bawa,
his Namibian counterpart, Humprey Geiseb and the CEO of Akwaaba Africa
International Travel Market and Travellers’ magazine.
Ayoola, who is presently the Group Manager of Esporta Group and an
alumnus of University of Ilorin and Lagos Business School has a
Master’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurants Management from Synergy
University, Dubai Campus (in-view).
Until recently, he was the Human Resources Manager, The American
University of Nigeria, Yola.
