Danialu Jnr Sec School Principal, SB Bakare, bags another title
The Principal of Danialu Junior Secondary School, Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, Chief Soliu Babatunde Bakare, has added another feather to his cap following his emergence as the Aare-ago asa ati ise Yoruba (Custodian of Yoruba culture and tradition).
He was decorated alongside others last Thursday at the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), House, Osogbo, Osun State.
In his remarks, Chief Soliu Babatunde Bakare appreciated the association and its President, Mrs Omowunmi Faleye for the unique award ditto the state Chairman, Chief Isaac Niran Obadare and the people of Osun State.
He also thanked the Kwara State ANCOPSS President, Alh. Toyin Abdullahi, the General Manager, Harmony Fm, Alh. Abdulmualiy Adegboyega and Alhaja Funmilayo Abdulrahman.
Other recipients of titles are; Chief Adegoke Raphael, Chief (Dr) Sola Oladehinde, Chief Adeumi Adeyemi, Otunba Deremi Sanni and Chief (Mrs) Funmilayo Ojokuku among others.
Dignitaries at the event included; Commissioner for Education in Osun State who represented Governor Isiaka Oyetola, the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun and Orangun of Ila_Orangun, Oba Abdulwahab Oyedotun. Others are; National President of Association of Yoruba Language and Culture of Nigeria, Mr Atanda Olawale, the Secretary of the association, Chief Niran Isaac Obadare and the state Chairman, Mr Yahya Adewoye. Also present were; Chief Yemi Elebuibon, the Araba of Osogbo and the Chief Priest of Osogbo, Alh. Toyin Abdullahi among others.
