Covid-19: Community leader lauds Kwara Gov over distribution of palliatives

The Magaji Ogidi ward in llorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, Alhaji Soliu Amasa-Ajape has expressed gratitude to Governor Abdulrahman Abfulrazaq over the distribution of palliatives to cushion the effect of lockdown to the residents of the ward.
The Magaji in a statement he personally signed in llorin on Thursday said the succour from the Governor solved the immediate needs of some residents of the ward who are incapacitated to carry out any economic activity during this period.
Amasa-Ajape also expressed appreciation to the state Deputy Governor and Chairman Committee in charge of distribution of palliatives, Mr Kayode Alabi for ensuring equity and fairness in the distribution of palliatives to residents of the state.
Magaji Ogidi similarly expressed his appreciation to the Emir of llorin and Chairman state council of chiefs, Alhaji lbrahim Sulu-Gambari for ensuring well-being of traditional institution in accordance with doctrine of Shehu Alimi and thanked the Balogun Ajikobi of llorin, Alha lsiaq Alao-Okunrinje for ensuring fairness and equity during the distribution of the Palliatives.
Amasa-Ajape in the statement said 750 vulnerable residents in the three districts that constitute Ogidi ward received five kilogramme of semovita, 10 kilogramme of rice, vegetable oil, sugar and other assorted materials and pledged continue loyalty and support of the residents of the ward to Governor in his bid to improve the wellbeing of the people of the state.
He however, appealed to the Governor for the completion of ongoing interlocking road that commence from Dado guniyan area to Alfa Banni compound.
He also solicited the construction of road that runs from idiose Alore-Asalapa to Adabiyah mosque-Abayawo Medina.
