Kwara FA calls Stakeholder caucus, Tuesday

In light of the ongoing developments in the spread of COVID-19 across Nigeria and the effects on football, Kwara State Football Association has invited representatives of football council’s, management of elite clubs and all affiliated bodies to attend a stakeholders meeting on Tuesday 14 July, 2020, to discuss critical issues by 11:00am.

Chairman of the Association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi explained the rationale of the planned meeting billed for conference room of the Kwara state stadium is in twofolds.

Discussions will include the recent decision from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to end the domestic competitions, including the AITEO Federation Cup and football development in the Kwara, particularly, the vacant position from Ilorin East/West football council.

He called on concerned stakeholders to be available and noted the meeting will be held with full compliance of Covid-19 precautionary measures as mandated by the Federal Government.
