Bamgboye scores brace in Fehérvár FC’s huge away win

Former U-17 World Cup winner, Funsho Bamgboye continued his fine run in the Hungarian NB I league on Saturday evening as he scored twice in the first half to inspire his side to a 5-0 win away at Ujpest.
Having ended the year in impressive fashion scoring 3 goals in 2 league games, the 22-year-old started his 12th league game with the visitors hoping to close the gap on league leaders Ferencvarosi.
Bamgboye then made it 2-0 on twenty minutes, this time benefiting from a gift from the goalkeeper as he cheekily lifted the ball before slotting into an empty net.
Bubu Zivzivadze then put the game beyond the hosts when he scored ten minutes after the break to make it 3-0 with two further strikes from substitute Ivan Petriak and Nemanja Nikolic’s ensuring the visitors earned their 9th win of the campaign.
The strike now takes Bamgboye league tally to 6 goals for the season with the former Golden Eaglet star now just 3 goals behind leader Janos Han who has scored 9 goals this campaign.
