The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested a 55 years old man, Abdulraheem Jimoh for allegedly defiling a 12 years old girl at Mayegun area of Alagbado in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The NSCDC’s Public Relations Officer in the State, Babawale Zaid Afolabi paraded the suspects before newsmen last Tuesday in Ilorin.
He said the suspect lured the minor into his shop with N100 and had canal knowledge of her after which he threatened to kill her if she told anyone about what transpired between them.
The CDPRO said that the suspect would be charged to court and prosecuted to serve as deterrent to others who engage in such devilish act.
