Cristiano Ronaldo receives Guinness World Records certificate

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has received his Guinness World Records certificate after breaking the record of goals in menโs international football.
Ronaldo grabbed a brace as Portugal beat Ireland 2-1 on Wednesday to achieve the feat.
Before the game, the 36-year-old was level with Iranian, Ali Daei on 109 goals.
Ironically, Ronaldo had the chance to break the record earlier in the game but saw his penalty saved.
Ronaldo took to Instagram on Friday, posting a picture of himself with the Guinness certificate confirming his latest achievement.
He wrote: โThank you to the Guiness (sic) World Records. Always good to be recognised as a world record breaker. Letโs keep trying to set the numbers even higher!โ
Daei took to social media to praise Ronaldoโs achievement in breaking his record, hailing the Portugal captainโs โhumility and kindnessโ.
