Kwara College of Nursing and Midwifery committed to quality Education – Provost

The Provost, Kwara State College of Nursing & Midwifery, Ilorin, Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla has resounded the institution’s resolution towards providing quality education for future professional Nurses and midwives.
He assured that the college is ever ready to produce professional Nurses and midwives at middle level and management personnel in health sector of the state and in the country at large.
Adding that the institution products “will be contributing their quota to the development of the sector and can be self reliant with good moral character”, Ayinla said.
The Provost stated further that, ” the college is well positioned for better performance with tools for excellent academic by providing an enabling environment for teaching and learning with proper research works.
“Our students are poised to gain world class skills & proficiency with well motivated lecturers that are creative and academically sound and are ready to teach and assist their students in achieving their goals.” he noted.
The college administrator however assured that the institution primes discipline among its students and will not tolerate any form of indiscipline and criminality.
In his own words, Ayinla said, ” the college under my watch disown and deal outrightly with acts of indiscipline & criminality, all sorts of social vices including examination malpractices, are not condoned.
“The college authority gives appropriate punishment for any offence committed”, he added.
Abubakar Ayinla also urged the students to always go extra mile to achieve academic excellence
He said, “students should be prepared to go extra miles in educating themselves through self education by creating study space, tutorials, getting connected to relevant journals, articles, books, seminar papers which will engage the seven styles of learning, which includes visuals, social, solidarity, logical, physical, verbal and oral.”
Ayinla assured that the college is ready to key into the education reforms and marching in the right direction for better service delivery in healthcare sector.
