Kwara College of Nursing and Midwifery emerges the best in Nigeria

Kwara College of Nursing and midwifery has been declared as the best school in General Nursing and Midwifery in the country by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria in Abuja.

This was disclosed by Dr. Umar Farouk Abubakar, Registrar of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at the event recently held in Abuja.

In his remark, Farouk Abubakar said that, “The Forum of Heads of Nursing Institution in Nigeria (FOHNW), have found Kwara State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin worthy of its mandate and hereby issue this award of honour to serve as a morale booster to higher level.”

The Registrar however described the Provost of the College, Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla as a Nurse Educator per excellence, a reliable and workaholic officer of forum of Heads of Nursing Institutions in Nigeria (FOHNW) who is dedicated, devoted and a good team player.

In his response,the Provost of the college, Ayinla described the receiving the award among the 290 Colleges of Nursing in the country as a rare honour, promising to keep the flag of success flying higher.

In similar event, the College of Nursing and Midwifery Ilorin has also been awarded a certificate of credence by The Centre for Ethnics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO).

According to CESVO, the college Certificate of Credence having being successfully passed the corporate performance integrity test among the top 10 highly rated most ethical responsible state Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery in Nigeria.

The certificate was presented by the executive director of the NGO, prince Saliu Musa Yakubu.

CESVO, an international NGO exposing corruption, promoting Ethical and Value leadership while providing Ethical Education and Self Value Orientation of global citizens.

Also the Provost of the Colleges Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla was also presented Ethical Conduct leadership compliance award being a responsible Provost of College of Nursing and Midwifery Award 2020/2021,

Ayinla was said to be honoured for his self discipline, hard work, management skills, quality assurance cum professional exams Ethics compliance and fight against cultism and social vices.

Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla was honoured to bear the title of I.I.O.N (Integrity Icon of Nigeria) immediately and for life.
