Prince Oladimeji Thompson has sent appreciation messages to Kwarans following his coronation as the new Kwara State Pillar of Sports in Ilorin on Friday.
In the message issued through his media office, Prince Thompson express profound gratitude to the executive Governor of Kwara State, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, Captains and leaders in the state sports sector and all other well wishers.
“May I express my profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for his unstinted co-operation and support. I thank immensely all Royal Father’s for their prayers, words of encouragement, support and co-operation in making this occasion a success”.
“From the inner recesses of my heart, I wish to thank all those that played significant roles, from the Chairman of the State Sports Commission, Sport Association Chairmen, Coaches, Officials, Athletes, Sports stakeholders, people from different walks of life that graced this once in a lifetime occasion.
We have all profited from this learning and experience.
“Before I am done, let me in conclusion, express my profound gratitude also to the fourth estate of the Realm particular Kwara SWAN, friends, relations and those who sent messages of good-will and support in one form or the other as well as those who donated generously to the program to make this occasion a resounding success. Prince Thompson, two time chairman of Kwara United football club was awarded the prestigious title following his outstanding contributions to sports development and humanitarian services in Kwara over the years.
