Ovation! As Toyin Saraki emerge WHO global health ambassador

Former First lady of Kwara state, Her Excellency, Barr.Toyin Ojora-Saraki has been announced as the inaugural WHO Foundation Ambassador for Global Health.
The global health body, World Health Organization,WHO made the announcement on Wednesday through the WHO Foundation in Lagos.
This is said to be in recognition of Saraki who is the president of Well-being Foundation Africa, WBFA, for her huge efforts in the promotion of global health.
According to WHO, it has monitored and discovered that Toyin Saraki had recorded numerous incredible achievements and has continuously initiated programs which has positively impacted the global health sector.

“Such an incredible achievement and honour,A massive thank you to YE all for your hard work and passion in enhancing Nigeria’s healthcare system and also by continuously implementing and managing programs which create a global ripple effect.”, the appointment statement reads.
The CEO of WHO Foundation,Mr Anil Soni described Saraki as a highly esteemed global advocate, who has dedicated decades of work to women and children’s health and empowerment.
Soni lauded Saraki’s tireless commitment to improving global health through her advocacy work especially through her foundation, WBFA.
“I am deeply honoured to have Saraki serve the WHO Foundation as our first Ambassador for Global Health.
“Her energy and deep commitment to educating, advocating and fundraising on behalf of WHO Foundation’s mission, will make a critical difference to global health initiatives.
“Her ambassadorship will enable us to power the vital work of WHO through the triple billion goals for a fairer and more equitable world, ” Soni said.
In her reaction to the appointment ,Saraki expressed her delight saying that she is honoured to become the inaugural WHO Foundation Ambassador for Global Health.
“The WHO Foundation is a force for good in the global health ecosystem and is driving catalytic change to overcome today’s most pressing global health challenges.
“I look forward to working with the foundation to propel one of the world’s most influential global health initiatives forward, ” The philanthropist said.
It was established that Toyin Saraki’s achievement was hinged on her efforts geared towards adequate healthcare delivery through her well-being foundation.
Wellbeing Foundation Africa WBFA,is a pan-African maternal health and wellbeing charity, founded in 2004, which focus on improving health outcomes for women, infants and children.
