Crisis broke out at Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq’s APC Adewole ward on Sunday over the released of N8m Kwaprenuer fund meant for the APC youths of the ward as one of the ward members who is also Governor’s ally, Abdulmajeed Temidire popularly known as ‘Aburo Gomina’ allegedly hijacked the money meant for the members.
This was discovered in a trending video circulated on social media platform where the ward APC youths were seen raining curses, chanting war songs and using abusive words on Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq over what they termed as insensitive and betrayal nature of the ruling APC government.
A top APC member of Adewole ward who spoke to National Pilot on condition of anonymity ,said this is not the first time  Temidire will be betraying Ward executive and members of Adewole.
“Anytime the governor send him to the Ward, he will sideline the Exco and member and take the decision on his own.”
According to the source, Governor AbdulRazaq always send Temidire to Adewole ward, but he never carry all party exco along in anything.
“The N8m Kwaprenuer fund governor sent to us through him which was meant for the 8 party members who are business owners was not delivered. He shared the money among his loyalists in the party, who happened to be his friend and family.
“Some member said he gave his people N700,000 and take N300,000 each on the 8 beneficiaries.”
The source explained that, that action led to the Adewole ward executives to call up meeting which featured the woman leader, zonal chairman among others and the outcome of the meeting led to the crisis.
“I know some people, but I don’t have their full name. They are Abdul Olona from Kuntu zone, Nurudeen from Oke-Are, one woman we do call her Iya Rabi from Apalara zone and a man called All star I don’t know his zone.” The source revealed.
Another source said, a sum of N8 Million was truly given to Adewole ward as its quota in the Kwaprenuer ,revealing that instead of them to share the money among the party members who are business owners, “the governor ally in the ward hijacked the money in favour of his associates.”
He said, “The Governor allotted 8 slots to us at Adewole ward which were meant to be shared among party executive and stalwarts who are business owners but unfortunately the N8 million was cornered by the governor’s crony in favour of his friends and relatives.”
When contacted via a telephone call, AbdulMajeed Temidire confirmed that the N8 Million Kwaprenuer funds were truly given to him, he added that the money meant for the eight (8) beneficiaries who went through the processes and merited the slots was asked to be shared among the ward executives.
“The APC executives and stalwarts at Adewole ward wanted the N8 Million meant for Kwaprenuer beneficiaries to be shared among them. I explained to them that the money was meant for 8 beneficiaries who had passed through the processes and merited the slots.
“They wanted to avoid agreeing with me. They want me  to compromise with them to squander the money without achieving the purpose that it was meant for. The Kwaprenuer money is meant to equip young business owners to enable them to thrive and grow bigger in their various investments.
“I have been upright in my dealings, and that’s the major reason why the state government has always entrusted me with money. This is not the first time I am giving such task and I will not compromise due to threat and intimidation,” he expressed.
When our reporter requested for the names of the beneficiaries to clear the allegation that he cornered the slot in favour of his friends and relatives, Temidire refused to release the names of the beneficiaries, claiming that it may be used by the opposition to score political gains.
