The death has been announced of a leading member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oke- Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, Prince Ayodeji Oni. He was 61.
Popular known as Oni Of Kwara, Oni reportedly died this afternoon, Wednesday.
Oni had served as special assistant on Transport to former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed. He also served the late Governor Mohammed Lawal as special assistant, communication.
He had battled an illness which afflicted him for several months. He however recovered and had resumed running his printing press located in Ilorin before his demise.
