Abducted wife, children of Kwara lawmakers regain freedom * Five abductors arrested

The wife and children of the Kwara House of Assembly member Hon. Soliu Ayanshola who were abducted on Monday have regained freedom, according to top government sources.

 “They regained their freedom late Wednesday, abour 8pm, following discreet efforts of the security agencies and the Kwara State Government,sources told National Pilot last night.

It would be recalled that suspected gunmen on Monday abducted the wife and two children of Hon. Soliu

The abductors, It was gathered, stormed the home of the legislator around 1:00 am with AK-47 rifles and shot sporadically before whisking the victims away.

National Pilot, however gathered last night that five members of the kidnap gang have been arrested by the police.

Kwara police command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, who spoke on the incident earlier on Wednesday, confirmed that at least five people had been arrested by the command over the abduction .
