Holy seasons: Kwara Wellbeing Foundation distributes food,empowers orphans,other vulnerable communities* Lauds husband for support

The Wellbeing Foundation Africa, Kwara State Chapter, continues to empower vulnerable communities during the holy seasons of Ramadan, Lent, and Easter.
The Barrister Toyin Saraki’s organization, through #WBFA Alaafia Kwara Initiative has been instrumental in providing support to orphans and other marginalized individuals.
This initiative has resulted in the distribution of food items and clean drinking water to 14 healthcare facilities, orphanages, schools, and correctional facilities across the State.
The impact of this outreach is visible in the diverse range of institutions that have benefited, reflecting the WBFA’s dedication to the community’s health and well-being.
By focusing on those most in need, the Wellbeing Foundation Africa underscores their values and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals during this sacred time.
The full list of the benefited facilities and group are; Sobi Barrack Medical Center, Okelele Primary Health Center, Children Specialist Hospital Centre Igboro, Civil Service Hospital, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Sobi Specialist Hospital, Adewole Cottage Hospital, Badari Maternity and Clinic, Ogidi Banni Primary Health Center, General Hospital Ilorin, Surulere Hospital, Ajikobi Cottage Hospital, Tolulope Hospital, Boaz Medical, Kwara State Children’s Reception Centre, Gaa-Akanbi Pipeline, Borstal Training Institution, Ganmo Nigeria Correctional Service, Okekura, Kwara State School for Special Needs, Oyun, Al-Muwahideen Centre of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ori-Oke, and the Idi-Ori Widows Cooperative, Agbaji.
Meanwhile, Mrs Saraki has commended her husband, Dr Bukola Saraki and his Foundation, ABS for their support of her annual Ramadan food and palliative programmes.
Mrs Saraki who took to her Instagram account to express her appreciation wrote:
“Compassion is a boundless act of mercy, and during times of celebration, we must always remember orphans, those in vulnerable need, and those incarcerated, in our acts and prayers.
I am taking a moment to appreciate my dear husband HE @BukolaSaraki and the @ABSFoundationNG for their support of the @WellbeingAfrica Foundation’s Alaafia Kwara Initiative during the ongoing #ABSF Annual Ramadan Food Palliatives and Iftar Series.
Thanks to their generous donation, the #AlaafiaKwara Project Team from the WBFA Field Office continued and replenished its annual distribution of food to break fast and clean drinkable water, to public-minded groups, institutional care homes, and rehabilitative correctional facilities, schools and health centres across #KwaraState, including our WBFA #Mamacare360 Personal Social and Health Education #PSHE Facilities throughout Kwara State”.
Initiated in 2004, and sustained to date, the Committed To Caring Alaafia Kwara Initiative is dedicated to enhancing social care, health and wellbeing of every Kwaran, in alignment with the thematic human capital development programming intrinsic to our Wellbeing Economy Agenda.
