12-Year Remembrance: Agbaji Development Association Holds Special Prayer for Late Sarak

The Agbaji Development Association (ADA), under the leadership of Dr. Yunus Abdulkodir, organized a special prayer on Thursday in memory of the late Dr. Olusola Saraki, who passed away exactly 12 years ago.

The event, held at Agoro Compound, Agbaji, Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, featured the distribution of palliatives to members.

While leading the prayer session, the Chief Imam of Agbaji, Imam Akibu, offered prayers for the departed soul of Saraki and for the legacy he left behind.

He noted that one of Baba Saraki’s most notable attributes was his boundless philanthropy and unwavering commitment to uplifting those around him.

In his sermon, Sheik Kamaldeen Ataragba reflected on Oloye’s life, his impactful contributions, philanthropic gestures, and the exemplary character of Baba Oloye.

According to him, “Baba Saraki undoubtedly lived an extraordinary life that serves as an inspiration for all, and he will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”

On his part, the Association’s President, Dr. Yunus Abdulkadir, acknowledged Baba Saraki’s good deeds.

He expressed gratitude to the Islamic scholars, dignitaries, association members, and well-wishers who attended to pray for the soul of Oloye.

Dr Yunus then prayed that Almighty God grants Baba Saraki eternal rest and that Almighty Allah upholds the family he left behind.
