Emir of Ilorin’s P A, Muritala Emerges National President as BCSS Alumni Elects New Executive Team

The Baboko Community Secondary School (BCSS) Alumni Association, Ilorin, has unveiled its newly elected leadership following the Annual General Meeting held on November 17, 2024, at the school grounds.
Dr. Abdulrraheem Murtala, Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin, was named the National President, while Dr. Ridwanullah Oniye, a lecturer at the University of Ilorin, takes on the role of National Secretary.
The 13-member executive team includes:
– National President: Dr. Abdulrraheem Murtala
– National Vice President I: Mrs. Asiat Ayobola Saidu
– National Vice President II: Mr. Lukman Abubakar Bala
– Treasurer I: Abdullahi Ahmed Adekunle
– Treasurer II: Mashood Kehide
– Financial Secretary: Reuben Okediji
– PRO I: Mustapha Abdullahi
– PRO II: Bakare Wasiu Ayinla
– Welfare Officer I: Kudirat Aderemi Kareem
– Welfare Officer II: Shuaib Husseinat Kehinde
– Membership Officer: Abdulhakeem Olorunoje
– Assistant General Secretary: Prince Temitope Akolo
– General Secretary: Dr. Ridwanullahi Kolapo Oniye
Speaking on behalf of the new team, Dr. Oniye expressed deep appreciation for the trust placed in them.

Founded in 1978, Baboko Community Secondary School boasts a proud heritage. The incoming leadership is determined to uphold this legacy, prioritizing alumni engagement, advancing the school’s infrastructure, and fostering broader community development.
