Abdulraheem Adisa, Ex-Kwara Commissioner, LG Chair, Veteran Journalist , Dies At 91, Buried

Former Kwara State Commissioner for Information and ex Chairman of Moro Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdulraheem Adisa, on Thursday bid the world bye after battling an undisclosed protracted illness.
He was 91.
Sources close to the veteran journalist disclosed to the National Pilot that Adisa breathed his last in the early hours of this morning.
He had battled an undisclosed ailment which kept him bedridden for many years.
Late Adisa worked several years for the News Agency of Nigeria, from where he was appointed General Manager of the Herald Newspapers.
He was then appointed Commissioner for Information and Communication in the Bukola Saraki’s administration.
A notable grassroots politician, Adisa left the Information and Communications portfolio to run for the chairmanship of the Moro Local Government election, which he won.
As the Chairman of Moro Local Government Area, Adisa left an indelible marks on good governance.
A very loyal and political associate of the Saraki political dynasty, Adisa was buried at the Muslim cemetery in Ilorin at 10am on Thursday.
