Use talents to win souls, Cleric to Christians

 

Christians have again been charged to make positive use of their talents to win souls for the Kingdom of God.
Speaking on the theme “Harvest of righteousness“ at the 2017 Children Harvest and thanksgiving at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters, Special Apostle Gabriel Adigun implored them to evaluate and appraise themselves positively to prepare for the harvest of endtime.
Special Apostle Adigun charged Christians to desist from sin and live a holy and righteous life.
ýThe Cleric called on them to move closer to God and worship Him wholeheartedly. He advised Christians to love their neighbours as themselves.
Special Apostle Adigun advised children to obey and honour their parents in all circumstances while challenging parents to teach Children the way of the Lord and proper home training to be useful citizen.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo warned Christians to know their God whom they serve and do away with non-challant attitude.
In his ‎sermon titled “No other foundation” delivered at the thirtieth anniversary of Second ECWA Shao, Reverend Emmanuel Ayebulu of Second ECWA, Amilegbe‎ noted that Jesus Christ is the foundation upon which the Church is built, adding that those who build on other foundations have no security and are vulnerable to a host of death, calamity and anxiety among others.
Reverend Ayebulu urged Christians to make Jesus Christ the corner stone of their faith and Church as every work shall be tested by fire and there will be reward for every action taken.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C&S Movement Church, Ipetu-Igbomina who emphasised his message on what shall it profit a man to gain this sinful world and loss the kingdom of God, advised Christians to desist from their shortcomings to reign supreme with Jesus Christ on the last day.
In his sermon entitled “Restoration” in preparation for this year Church anniversary, Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of C. A. C Faith Chapel, Asa-dam road, Ilorin called on Christians to be sincere as the only way for God to restore the lost glory of faithfuls who serve Him with pure heart.
Also, the District Minister in charge of Kwara and Kogi of the Gospel Apostolic Church, upper Pipeline road, Ilorin urged Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper regardless of their religion background and pray for their leaders to receive direction from God.
