Sanchez to PSG, don’t believe it – says Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has again stated that Alexis Sanchez is not for sale.

After defeat to Chelsea in Beijing, Wenger was asked about rumours linking Alexis to PSG.

“It’s only media imagination. No, it doesn’t make any difference [if it’s a foreign club that wants to sign him],” he replied.

It’s been suggested Wenger would be willing to sell Alexis to a foreign club ahead of Manchester City.

Man City sign £26.5m Danilo from Real Madrid

Manchester City has completed the signing of Danilo from Real Madrid on a five-year contract.

The full-back underwent a medical in the United States before moving in a deal believed to be worth £26.9m.

The 26-year-old has signed a five-year deal at the Etihad and has now joined his new teammates on the club’s pre-season tour of America.

Chelsea can survive Costa departure – Conte

Chelsea will survive without Diego Costa, insists manager Antonio Conte.

Conte says Chelsea fans should not fret that Costa is leaving.

“Now we have to build with new players and with those players who won two Leagues and arrived once in 10th,” he said.

“One player is not important. The most important thing is the team, the squad, and it’s important now to be together. You can’t just lose it after one player.”

Juventus wants Emre Can

Juventus has lined up Emre Can as their primary midfield target, according to Tuttosport.

The Serie A champions are looking to secure a deal for the Liverpool man, and hope to take advantage of the German’s contract situation, with his current deal ending in 2018.

Kolarov completes Roma move

Aleksandar Kolarov has signed a three-year deal with Roma, the Serie A club have announced.

Kolarov has completed a €5m (£4.4m) move to the Stadio Olimpico after being allowed to leave Manchester City.

The 31-year-old enjoyed a successful seven-year spell at the Etihad after joining from Lazio in 2010 but the Serbia international was forced to play a bit-part role last season under Pep Guardiola.

Kolarov will now join up with the Italian club in Boston as they continue their pre-season tour of the United States.

Madrid offer Benzema for Mbappe

Real Madrid has offered Karim Benzema as part of a deal to sign Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.

Los Blancos are closing in on a deal for the France international, with Benzema part of one of the bids currently on the table.

Real Madrid will look to sign Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg and Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi if they fail to land Kylian Mbappe, Marca  reports.

Meanwhile, the European champions are in search of a new striker after Alvaro Morata’s move to Chelsea and will target a cheaper option should talks over Mbappe break down.

The Italy U-21 international and the Denmark No.9 would be brought in to play a back-up role to their star forwards.

‘De Gea staying at United’

Jose Mourinho can “guarantee” David De Gea will be staying at Manchester United this summer, saying Real Madrid missed the chance to sign the goalkeeper.

De Gea has long been linked with a return to the Spanish captial but, speaking on United’s pre-season tour of the USA, Mourinho insisted there is no chance De Gea will leave this summer – and suggested Real may have burned their bridges.

“I can guarantee that he’s not going this season, that I can,” the United boss said. “And my feeling is that it will be very difficult for him to go because he’s a very honest boy, very straight.

“I see him really happy and focused and working better than ever, so for me 100 per cent he stays with us.”

Barca to tempt Liverpool with £80m Coutinho bid

Barcelona will make an £80 million offer for Philippe Coutinho after Liverpool rejected their initial bid.

Despite the Reds’ assertion the Brazilian is not available at any price, the Catalan side will improve on the £72m approach that was knocked back.

Messi wants Dybala as Neymar replacement

Lionel Messi has given Barcelona a list of candidates he wants to replace Neymar should he join Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are ready to lure Neymar to the French capital by matching his €222 million release clause, leaving Barca in the hunt for a new star attacker.

Messi has endorsed Paulo Dybala for the role and the Juventus attacker is said to be the club’s main candidate. Should they fail in that pursuit, though, Messi wants them to go after PSG’s Angel Di Maria or Borussia Dortmund attacker Ousmane Dembele.

United look set to miss out on Nemanja Matic and Eric Dier and are hoping to hijack Vidal’s projected move to Inter.

Liverpool has finally reached an agreement worth around £75 million with RB Leipzig for Naby Keita.

Leipzig has been determined to hold on to their star man, having rejected two offers from the Reds. However, the website claims they have had success with a third offer.

Alexis wants £500k per week

Alexis Sanchez is demanding a wage of £500,000 per week from Paris Saint-Germain as he looks to complete a move to the French club.

The Chile international met with PSG director Antero Henrique in the French capital to discuss a transfer, but is holding out for a huge salary before agreeing to leave Arsenal.
