 Appointment: Oloje APC alleges marginalisation

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Oloje Ward in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State has frowned over what it described as marginalization of Oloje ward in Political appointments in the state.

A Statement by the chairman APC Elders Forum, Oloje ward, Sulaiman Dajo, in Ilorin, a copy which was made available to National Pilot last night, solicited the intervention of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed to come to the aid of the ward as political appointments meant for it have been hijacked and diverted to other more influential places.

The statement therefore advocated equitable distribution of Political appointments among the party loyalists and consider APC Oloje ward among the Central Working Committee in the last APC Local Government and forthcoming State Congresses in a bid to further contribute their quota to the party.

It alleged that, Oloje Ward has been deprived of House of Assembly seat of Ilorin North-West constituency, supervisory counsellor, commissioner, Liaison Officer and other political appointments which according to the statement have demoralised huge number of staunch APC supporters of the ward.

The statement urged the Senate President to as a matter of urgency, correct the lopsided appointment by facilitating at least Special Adviser to the ward to pacify the aggrieved party members.

It assured Abubakar Bukola Saraki of their unalloyed loyalty and support to ensure success of the party prayed Allah to continue to guard and guide him in his political and personal endeavours.
