2 Kwara lawyers to be arraigned over alleged fraud, today

Two Kwara lawyers; Saka Hammed and Sulu Gambari, will be dragged
before Justice Sikiru Oyinloye, of the state High Court, today, over
alleged property fraud worth N3.5million.
Also to be docked alongside the legal practitioners are two property
agents; Alhaji Olasunkanmi Subar and Tunde Kareem who were said to be
involved in the fraud.
The legal practitioners were said to have defrauded one Engr. Awolade
Olufemi, who is the nominal complainant of the said sum.
The property, a 4 bedroom apartment, located at Lao/Gaa Odota area,
Ilorin was allegedly sold by the defendants despite the fact they were
abreast of the fact that it has pending court litigation.
According to the complaint, before the court order the forfeiture of
the property, the defendants were reported to have rushed off to sell
the property to Engr. Olufemi.
Meanwhile, the charge sheet revealed that before the complainant paid
the said amount, he had requested Hammed to confirm its genuineness.
It further added that Hammed, confirmed from Gambari who told him that
that property has a title deed.
The complainant however paid the said amount to Hammed, being his
legal representative.
