Gabrielle Union recounts being raped at work
Actress Gabrielle Union, who has been open about her past sexual assault, is finally addressing the rape experience and why she would continue to talk about it.
Sharing her thought on “Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik’s op-ed for New York Times, in which she said that she made the choice to dress modestly and refrain from flirting to keep herself safe, Gabrielle Union who shared her rape experience and also defended other rape survivors in her Sunday Tweets, told her followers that dressing modestly doesn’t stop sexual assault on ladies.
Balik who said she was misunderstood wrote; In a perfect world, women should be free to act however they want. But our world isn’t perfect. Nothing — absolutely nothing — excuses men for assaulting or abusing women. But we can’t be naïve.
