We’ve delivered on our promises – Gov Ahmed

Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has delivered on its electoral promises to the people of the state.
According to him, the APC remains the only credible platform for improving the living standard of the people through the provision of infrastructure for economic development.
He urged Kwarans to continue to give maximum support to the APC by casting their votes for the party in the November 18th local government election.
He explained that the existing nurtured political structure in the state would continue to guarantee good governance and deliver dividend of democracy and assured the people of the state that all the APC flag bearers in the local government election would deliver on the mandate of the party.
The governor, who stated this yesterday in Ilorin at the flag off of APC campaign ahead of November local government election in the state, said
โ€œWe promised you improved health services. We have delivered. We promised safer roads, we have delivered. Good education, we have delivered. Jobs for youths and women, delivered. On our watch, Kwara State, from north to south, is witnessing great transformationโ€.
โ€œEfforts are already on ground to deliver more. As a resolve to continue adherence to put the process that will ensure that a free election is going to take place.
โ€œLet us ensure that this campaigns are carried on throughout the nooks and crannies of the local government as we flag it off here so that we demonstrate our presence, commitment to ensuring a free and fair system.
โ€œThe only alternative we have in Kwara is APC and our local government candidates will perform because we have told them what the next level of council management is going to be like and we will work very closely with them to ensure they succeed.
At the event were Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly Dr Ali Ahmad who was represented by the Deputy Speaker, Hon Matthew Okedare (Jebba), party chairman, Hon Ishola Balogun, the senatorial chairmen, principals officers, members of the state executive councils, top government functionaries, serving TIC members, APC candidates for the elections among others.
