
The Provost of Kwara State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin, Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla, has charged staff and students to do everything possible to advance peaceful co-existence on campus and be proactive to strengthen enabling environment for teaching and learning to attain lofty heights in the college curriculum thereby producing Nurses and Midwifes that will boost the specialized health sector of the nation.
A press release signed by the Provost, Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla, reminded the staffs, (academic and non-academic), to live far above all expectations, be proactive and should deliver on their mandate of imparting knowledge and discipline to students, while non-teaching staff should continue to be more punctual at their duty posts, keep records properly and work hard to keep confidentiality in their trust at all times.
Assuring that the management of the college is stoically committed at providing committed to provision of necessary incentives to make them function in a peaceful, decent and secured environment with a proactive mind set.
Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla, said, “under my able leadership, we shall continue to provide infrastructures on campus to smooth our daily activities, our academic staff are up and doing in their professional callings/postings, we are working hard to expand the internally generated revenue (IGR) and attending to other sundry issues with dispatch”.
He appealed to students to embrace dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving matters of general interest and be God conscious. “Our road map to success is sacrosanct and we are leaving no stone unturned in achieving big success with Hajia Folilat Folashade Salami as our Chairman, Governing Council”.
He acknowledged the active support of the management and principal officers for making the noble achievements attained possible, promising to continue to justify the high confidence reposed in him.
Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla appreciated Barrister Senior Ibrahim Sulyman, Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education for his open door policies and imbibing new team spirit in to the system, ” Barrister Senior Ibrahim Sulyman is a good team player,” Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla concluded.
