Cyber Security Experts get 26 MALHUB graduates

 

The Cyber Security Expert Association of Nigeria laud the effort of Mustafa Akanbi Library and Resources Centre (MAJHUB) for graduating 26 pioneer students.
The graduands were also presented with certificate to practice at the ceremony held at theย  MALHUB, Ilorin on Saturday.
The students were said to have undergone a six weeks training on Website Development and Graphics Design.
The Kwara state Chairman of the association, Mr Saka Abdulqaudri Bolakale Dagbo in his address, advised the graduands to follow ethics of the profession.
He also called on cyber space users in the country to be conscious of their activities on the website, so as to prevent themselves from falling prey of hackers.
The Chairman saidย  his association had begun a sensitisation campaign across the schools, organisations and other relevant agencies on the need to be security conscious while working on the cyber space in order to avoid compromising personal profile to hackers and malicious emails.
Bolakale said the association is a non governmental and non profit making association, adding that efforts are on to prevent cyber users from falling victim to cyber crime.
He advised professional website developers to develop a standard website that will be difficult for hackers to gain access toย  profile of unsuspecting users.
