Philanthropic Gesture: Kwara monarch eulogises former Ogun gov

Former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba has been praised for his philanthropic gesture particularly to people of his mother’s home town, Odo-Owa in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The Owa Oloota in-Council in a goodwill message to the family of Aremo Osoba on the 20th year remembrance of his mother, Chief Elizabeth Remilekun Osoba, the Yeyeoba of Odo-Owa, commended Osoba for his steadfastness, love and courage displayed in his service to the community.
The message signed by the Owa Oloota of Odo-Owa, Oba Joshua Oluwatoba Adeyemi Adimula on behalf of all sons and daughters of the community described the Late Yeyeoba Osoba as a crusader who contributed greatly to the development of the town during her lifetime.
Oba Adimula who prayed for long life and prosperity for Aremo Osoba and his siblings reminded the former governor of the need to complete the ongoing town hall project in memory of Yeyeoba to immortalise her for the positive roles she played in developing the town.
The monarch however used the opportunity to appeal to the people of Kwara State and Nigerians to continue to pray and support the government of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed in order to succeed in the task of governance.
He commended Governor Ahmed for his efforts at developing the state particularly at the grassroots and also eulogised the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki for his leadership quality leadership.
Oba Adimula noted that the traditional council led by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has ensured the rapid socio-economic development in all human endeavours in the state.
