Miguel, the American singer, and Nazanin Mandi, his wife, have decided to call it quits after 17 years together.
The pair dated for 10 years, got engaged in 2016, and tied the knot in Simi Valley, California in 2018.
According to reports, the former power coupleโs representative confirmed the split but didnโt reveal the reason why they parted ways.
โAfter 17 years together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to separate and have been for some time now. The couple both wish each other well.,โ the rep was quoted as saying.
Speaking about their relationship, Miguel told Hot 97 in 2015 that: โIโve come so far as a man and Iโm just starting to feel solid where I can be like, โYou know what? I think I can hold this down legitimately.โ
โI think now people throw things around like marriage. I just wasnโt raised like that.โ
โI just follow my instincts. I think sheโs learned that and sheโs had to adjust and had to learn and also embrace. And I love her more for that.โ
Miguel has four studio albums to his name which are โAll I Want Is Youโ (2010), โKaleidoscope Dreamโ (2012), โWildheartโ (2015), and โWar & Leisureโ (2017).
Nazanin is a renowned American actress, model, and entrepreneur.
