Gov Ahmed appoints 10 new perm secs

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed yesterday sworn-in 10 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, charging them to serve with zeal and commitment to make indelible contributions to the development of the state.

At the event held at the Council Chambers, Government House, Ilorin, Governor Ahmed urged them to see their appointments as opportunities to contribute their quota to the development of Kwara State.

According to him, the new Permanent Secretaries are adjudged to possess the qualification, knowledge, and experience to deliver on the responsibilities of their new offices.

Ahmed implored them to lead the service, and champion government policies for the comfort and benefit of the people.

The Governor who congratulated the permanent secretaries urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the government and the people of Kwara State.

Earlier, the Head of Service(HoS), Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole charged the new appointees to put in their best and take the service to enviable height.

Oluwole promised that a Quality Assurance Unit would soon be inaugurated in the office of the HoS to ensure strict compliance and performance.

Responding on behalf of the new appointees, the Permanent Secretary, Establishment and Training, Office of the HoS, Alhaji Yunusa Adebayo assured the governor and the people of the state that they would justify the confidence reposed in them
